And why not? Look at what they came from and what they understand their prospects to be. You can't pass on the Blessings of Liberty to Posterity if most don't have a clue as to what that requires.

It's what the young have been indoctrinated and conditioned for from inception by the public school system, much of the manufacturing has been driven out of this country, other jobs are being filled by foreigners and the ones who won't work fed, housed and clothed anyway. Add to that the poisonous appeal of political promises exploiting envy, immersive media illusions and a national ethos of feelings and beliefs over thought and proofs, and candidly, I'm surprised it's that low.
