How Scalia Botched Heller and Let the Left Undermine the 2nd Amendment [More]
I've pointed that out before.
I've also repeatedly pointed out that we can expect no truly fundamental change unless there's a credible "or else" attached to a demand. And that until our major gun groups get serious about the real intent of the Second Amendment, the erosion will continue.

“Were it not for the 'offending' paragraphs, Justice Kennedy would not have joined the opinion. So, Scalia had the option of writing a majority opinion or a dissent. He chose the former. You take what you can get.
“Now that there are more conservatives on the Court, the time may be ripe to revisit these questions and others (self-defense beyond one's house), but let's dispense with these so-called 'grievous errors' that Scalia made. He knew what he was doing.”
