I'd Want to See a Cost/Benefit Trade-off Analysis

Kaitlin Bennett vows to return to Ohio University with an ‘army of gun owners for an open carry walk’[More]
She can do it.

The question of "Should she?" may be a matter for debate, but ultimately she and her colleagues will make that decision. Some gun owners are concerned that the optics of the tactics and the potential for blowback will result in perceptional and political setbacks. The thing is, this is a new generation that sees the "old ways" have resulted in messes like Virginia. They are asserting they won't accept that-- and put themselves on the line to do it.

My only caution -- she is a dynamic personality and most of the promotional efforts seem centered on that. Since we are all flawed, I  urge we set that aside and decide the proper course for what we want to achieve based on an objective analysis of the specific goals, pros, cons, and alternatives.

Make that a condition of standing with anyone on anything.

Let’s face it, we live in a new world. Only “in your face” works anymore. Even the epitome of the polite “we will not comply” optics of Virginia’s recent armed rally were absolutely nonproductive.

Even Teddy Roosevelt understood it takes more than speaking softly.

Critics of Islam tread really carefully… why is that, do you think?

She put the 39 minute video of what transpired from beginning to end on youtube. If it weren't for that giant guy they hired for security, she probably wouldn't have made it out of there unharmed. The campus cops were completely worthless.

Seeing the violent and psychotic behavior of the leftists in this and other videos it isn't hard to imagine how the Killing Fields in Cambodia happened.
