What kind of logic is that?
2) Since they have eschewed Royal status, they're just 2 rich Brit expats. They can afford to pay for their own security.
3) They picked a great time to visit the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Aztlan. Maybe the folks who brought us all the Greater Los Angeles County Inter-ethnic May Festival of 1992 can re-enact it for the entertainment of the formerly Royal couple.
