Actually, for some people it would be. There are folks today in the Russian Federation who are homesick for the days of the USSR.
The phenomena is similar to the reason why some people are into bondage.
Having all of your ability to make choices removes all responsibility for the outcome and is, or so I have been told, quite liberating in a perverse kind of way.
