Only the inferior seek or demand equality.
I demand equal treatment with "Only Ones" on what guns we can keep and where we can bear them. The "legal" inferiority is due to the illegitimate enforcement powers of those who consider themselves our superiors.
Since at least the founding of our republic, and probably back till the (perhaps mythical) days of Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham, politicians and rulers have gotten out of line from time to time. In days past, or so we are told, the populace would step in and remind those guilty of the worst transgressions just exactly whom was in charge.

Some will tell you things have been going downhill since the Dodgers left Brooklyn. But I date the downward slide to the last time a community invited their councilman/mayor/governor to a tar and feather party.
