Well, the Flake wing of the party is out there spreading a message of defeatism to leftist media, and the lie that she's too "right-wing extreme," that's for sure.
Here's the thing-- if McSally loses, it won't be because her agenda (and what that means for gun owners) was too much like the one Trump promised in 2016.
Oh, look: Fundamental transformation!
In other words, the cheap labor Bloomberg/Norquist "Republicans" she has served, the ones saying we need the GOP to move even further to the left are the ones enabling a Democrat takeover.
What will they do with all that "bipartisanship" when the Party's over?

Puhleeze. Written by Salon, published by Yahoo, this is nothing but the wet dream of the Arizona Democratic Party. Any resemblance to reality, living or dead, is purely accidental.
Case in point: Phoenix is already refusing to go quietly down the same path as other cities...
The organizer blames the "intimidation tactics" (pot/kettle) on "supporters of Phoenix Police and the police union," but I wholly believe the pushback represents a wide citizen base.
