Upping the Stakes

Fledgling militia group put out call to arms in Kenosha and 5,000 people responded. Now it's banned from Facebook after fatal shootings during protests [More]

“In my view, when the government can’t protect us, that’s when we rely on the Second Amendment, which is in place just for these circumstances,” he said Thursday. ... That’s not how Facebook sees it. The social media giant has taken down the Kenosha Guard’s page for violating its “dangerous organizations policy.” ... which prohibits organizations or individuals that declare a violent mission or are engaged in violence."

However, Facebook saw nothing wrong with another group running an "invite poster" prior to the Kenosha riots that said, "No bad protestors, no good cops. Do what you want, f* s* up." No violent mission there.

I would argue (and have) that gun owners who do not exploit the resources and use "social media" as "advocacy media is a bigger part of the problem by limiting their information and intelligence, and a means to distribute it, and effectively ceding that ideological battlespace to the enemy.
