RE: Rope selling capitalists... I read an article a while back about one of Bill Clinton's inner circle goons. It talked about how Clinton wanted to leverage his celebrity after his presidency to funnel money to himself through philanthropy (Clinton Foundation. What they discovered was how lucrative it was if they could convince CEOs to go woke and start funding feel good initiatives for the sake of Public Relations gains. Thus Woke Capitalism was born. BIG Money flowed to leftist causes and Clinton gets a taste for his efforts. The inner circle Goon that helped him do all this ended up being worth north of $300 million after it was all said and done... just for being Bill Clinton adjacent.
