In all the time I've been writing I have never asked readers for money for myself. I ask you to respond to this appeal because what they are doing is important, and for the admittedly selfish reason that this is the only place you can go that archives much of my published work from the past 20+ years, as regulars can tell by the frequency I link to it. If it goes, that's gone.

As always, I'm not asking you for "charity." I am saying that if you get value from the work to give some value in return. And as always, I never ask others to do that which I am not ready to do myself:
