The shooting happened during a fight in the school parking lot during a volleyball game between Sheridan High School and Bruce Randolph School.
Besides, Leslie's plan worked so well in Virginia Beach.
It's not a matter of these people never being tired of being wrong. It's not like what they're really after is public safety.

Many are 'uncomfortable' around those who carry.
And not just OC folks, either. CHP holders too.
Think of it this way: CHP people are Asymptomatic.
How could you be so insensitive?
Well, they obviously feel feelings supersede facts.

Actually, Ma'am, it says I have the right to carry my firearm when and where I choose to do so whether you or anyone else thinks I need it or not!
"Huppert said his main issue is the carrying of certain automatic weapons, which he doesn’t view as necessary for the general public.

Huppert is a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the Army with the 101st Airborne Division. He said he was in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969, where he was combat platoon leader for seven months."
Evidently Huppert never learned the difference (or if he has, he doesn't care) between a semiauto rifle and a select fire or automatic weapon. His attitude is surprisingly common among veterans, and is similar to a former Canadian Army officer who is a friend of mine. He and I can talk about everything except semiauto rifles.
