I did not link to this two weeks ago when it first came across the transom because I don't know who these people are, I have no way to independently validate their claims, because we have been led down the garden path by conspiracy theorists time and again, including in some of the "stop the steal" allegations, and because I'm the one who has continuously cautioned against passing along unverified rumors.
In fact, some have already dismissed this as disinformation, although if you read what they say about that they really don't make their case.
I break with normal practice here because authorities are clearly hiding something and if this is what it takes to break loose the truth, that's on them. Plus if this does turn out to be true, then these folks deserve credit for an exclusive the media and government are just as adamant to keep a lid on as they were about Gunwalker.
Note to government: You don't want wild rumors? How about you start behaving in a forthcoming way that does not encourage them and make them inevitable?

Information, like nature, abhors a vacuum.
If factual information is not available, the space will be filled -- with rumor, conjecture, conspiracy theory, and fearmongering lies.
Avoiding the maelstrom of unverified claims is shockingly simple. Just make the facts available. The people will draw their own conclusions, and you'll find most people are reasonable when they have facts from which to work.
But that would require trust in the populace, wouldn't it ...
... which says more about the government than about the conspiracy theorists.
