Well, so much for my bucket listing of a visit to the capitol.
Face to face with my "representatives", sure, next lifetime.
Trust me, DC passed its expiration date long ago. Lived there in the '70s, was a nice place, plenty of photo opportunities of monuments and buildings. Revisited in Y2K for the kids, concrete bollards everywhere, cops in every doorway, gray everything, looked like Moscow's own Bowery.
