Habeas Corpus

 Rittenhouse’s former attorney responded to the motion later Wednesday, saying his former client wasn’t at the listed address as he had been moved to an undisclosed “safe house” due to death threats, CNN reported. The network added that attorneys for Rittenhouse emailed Kenosha County prosecutors in November asking to file a change of address form but keep it under seal. An email response sent by an assistant district attorney at the time said the office would not agree to those terms unless there was evidence of tangible and imminent threats. [More]

Wait a sec-- I thought if CNN reported it, that was all the proof anyone needed...

It sounds like they won't believe it until his body is literally brought in.

Nothing to see here. Rittenhouse has been set up for return to jail pending trial and where he may meet his end.
