The War on *some* Drugs is more fun, and profitable, as well as safer, than chasing down murderers...
Intentional homicide, aka murder, is the ultimate expression of violence.
Note the indifference to violence that did not involve a gun or other obvious tool.
Perhaps if it was "gun violence", it would have gotten more timely attention?
