Why, did the guy make actionable threats? It seems to me the ones going into hysterics are the ones who want to introduce the violence of coercion into the equation. And that "Fear has gradually spread into the town of Pawlett" opening tells us much.
Did the guy move in and deliberately violate existing zoning ordinances or not? Did he issue threats or not? How do we know some of those weren't initiated by the supposed "victims"?
It's not a matter of being "gun-friendly." Hell, any Fudd or fed can be that if we're talking about their gun.
It's a matter of being freedom-friendly.
