Jews are 2-3% of the US population. Pincus and Gross are both Jews as are many of the most ardent gun controllers, e.g Nick Hanauer, Mike Bloomberg, Dianne Feinstein, etc. There are some Jews who are ardent gun rights people and there are gun controllers that aren't Jewish, etc.

Yet, what I'm pointing to is the disproportionate influence a tiny minority has on so many key policy issues. If it's okay to point out that Blacks commit a disproportionate amount of "gun violence" in the US then it ought to be okay to highlight the disproportionate influence of Jews in public discourse and to consider how that came about and how it may be distorting the discourse.
