You gotta wonder -- if this turns out to be true -- what personality defect makes people in positions of power think they can involve others in such behaviors and keep it confidential. But mostly, you gotta wonder how much of the Deep State runs on blackmail.

Some of our founders understood that not everything unwise or unsavory has to be criminalized. If our society recognized that today, many of these blackmail problems wouldn't even be problems.
