You mean ALL government officials lose their Q-Immunity?

Mack, it ain't that easy. There are many flavors of immunity -- qualified, unqualified, and absolute are the top three -- and they devolve onto different officeholders. Qualified immunity mainly covers police and vicinity. Judges and some others get absolute. I believe Unqualified is for Mayors, Governors, and people like that. Discussion is readily available on the web.
All that happened here is that the bigwigs threw the low men on the totem pole under the dogsled.
