Paraphrasing a Coral Gables cop's question to one of my neighbors: "What have you been doing to American citizens that makes you think half of them want to kill you?"
There is a reason the town is called "Mordor on the Potomac!" Unfortunately, the denizens thereof don't have the sense to ask themselves if they've had any part in earning that nickname.
I say go ahead and let them have their *&^% commission.
I'd be willing to bet that in the final report the fingers of blame will all be pointed outward.
