The industry needs to cease doing business with the State of New York. It won't, of course, because "rope-selling capitalists," but it should. And seeing who has no problem servicing the oppressors should be loudly pointed out so that gun owners can make alternative choices. `
One segment of the industry that might be more "doable": Ammunition. Demand is such that if all manufacturers followed Steve Hornady's lead, they still wouldn't be able to keep up with demand and wouldn't lose a dime.
Play it smart and reap publicity and gratitude patronage benefits.
