Gat Scratch Fever

EXCLUSIVE: Ted Nugent resigns from NRA Board ...Despite his fame and popularity, Nugent never donated any money to NRA. In 2017, the NRA paid him more than $60,000 to autograph guitars, which were later auctioned off during Friends of the NRA fundraising dinners.  [More]

$60K for autographs corroborates other stuff I've been told by reliable sources.

I've never been impressed with the guy. And his "exclusivity" excuse sounds like just that.

Uncle Tec has proven repeatedly over the decades that the only thing he cares about is Uncle Ted.

Through the magic of serendipity and happenstance, I came across an applicable paragraph after reading this post.

"A key point is that expertise is non-transferable: Even if we accept that it is ethical for public figures to mislead the public for the public’s own good, being an expert in infectious diseases does not give you any special insight into other complex questions, such as public behavior. People who are high achievers in one field mistakenly believe that they possess a kind of generalized cleverness applicable to other areas of endeavor — call it Krugman’s Fallacy."

Bill Cosby made a name for himself as a comedian and took some flack for some pointed insight and advice as to why African American families were failing at bringing up their children to be functional members of society. Nevertheless, I think most of us would agree, he's not a great role model when it comes to healthy sexual relationships.

Give a serious listen to "Stranglehold" hand you'll hear some first rate guitar licks.

But I still wouldn't take political advice from Uncle Ted.
