"Keeping guns out of the wrong hands" was verbatim HCI's mantra throughout the '80s. I fell for it then. And look how that turned out.
Never again.

Anyone who says "I support the Second Amendment, but"...... DOESN'T.

There is NO dialogue to be had without a unconditional swearing of fealty to the Second Amendment’s absolute prohibition of gun access restriction laws.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

"I am just a poor boy
Though my story's seldom told
I have squandered my resistance
For a pocketful of mumbles
Such are promises
All lies and jest
Still, a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest"

"The Boxer" -- Simon and Garfunkel

Still, after all these years, they've come to the realization (with a little help from Frank Luntz) that the phrase "gun control" wasn't helping their cause. I wonder if/when they'll ever let go of "the wrong hands".

Still, there are a couple of questions we should demand they answer.

1. Who determines who the "wrong hands" belong to, and by what methodology?

2. How do they propose to remove guns from those "wrong hands" once and for all without disarming the rest of "We the People"?
