While looking to something else, I ran across this blast from the past by The Big Guy that pretty much lays the difference in worldview out for all to see:

Cool, except he needs to clarify which government he's referring to.
You see, our government has no rights whatsoever.
None, zilch, nada!
We the People have rights.
The government has only those powers delegated to it by the states and the People.
Wouldn't it be cool if all candidates for Federal office were required to pass a basic civics test on the Constitution (as amended)and American History?
John Wilder has a nice dissertation which got his blog hacked. He's restored it now. I expect that it will be printed by some and left in waiting rooms, libraries and supermarkets all over...
