Love the quote from Rep. Maxine Waters: "July 4th… & so, the Declaration of Independence says all men are created equal. Equal to what? What men? Only white men?"
It's an incendiary question, and intentionally so. The Declaration has the answer right there, and she even said it herself: ALL men. And in the parlance, "all men" refers to "all of humankind".
She knows this, of course, or she should. Alternatively, she hasn't actually read the Declaration or put it in context.
Ergo, she's either ignorant or she's lying. Neither bodes well -- for her or anyone else -- so why do people listen to her again?
