ATF Watches More Than 1000 Guns Go Missing In The US! [Watch]
Tell me it doesn't sound like it's right out of the Fast and Furious playbook, counting on enabled abuses to gin up more demand for controls.
Tell me a thorough and honest investigation wouldn't find government provocateurs at the center of things. 600 firearms can't be found in stock and everybody shrugs? What FFL would take such risks without assurances?
My spider-sense is tingling on this one.
It figures a USA Today/The Trace joint venture wouldn't be looking at that, but instead be making the case that ATF needs more power and more laws.
Don't expect anything to happen as long as Democrats control House Oversight and Senate Judiciary. Not that anything of changing and lasting effect happened when Republicans did...
