Raining on the Parade

 The march called for November 20 sets a dangerous precedent for scheduled parades, distorts that date and dilutes the spirit of those protests through an intellectual-left-social-democratic turn. The Cuban must take the streets, not beg for routes. And it has to do so not under the umbrella of dialogue and the complicity that emanates from these collaborations, but under the conviction of not recognizing the authority from which permission is being asked today.  [More]

Sounds like the whole thing is a setup by regime supporters to put a kinder, gentler face on tyrants.
