We're the Only Ones Avoiding and Denying Enough

The best option, according to Lt. Lane, in an active shooter situation is to avoid, deny, or defend, otherwise known as run, hide, or fight. [More]

Notice he didn't say with what on that last one. And then there's this:

Officers said calling 911 was another crucial piece in a civilian's response. Once law enforcement arrives on the scene, usually in about three minutes, they don't always know who or where the threat is. So, they said it's crucial that people follow their commands and show their palms.

Good one on that first bs claim. And figures you'd prone us out or kill us after we took care of things.

I knew you could snark out the BS.

Sure, anyone without a badge -- who has a gun -- just might be the bad guy.

Don't ever fight back with a weapon. You might get shot in the head.

"... about three minutes" -- right. That's so reassuring.

So LT cops to "...loosing cognitive abilities when under stress..."

Only ones included.

If ever in extremis will take my chances on self defense, will not have 3 minutes hold time.
