Poster boy for U.S. gun control movement kills himself in jail on DUI charge: Mark Glaze, 51, who helped Obama write policy and took on NRA 'was suffering from depression' [More]
So you don't need a gun to do it, and no amount of government control short of putting everyone in s straight jacket and a padded room will stop someone who is determined?
What a study in cognitive dissonance:
- A "safety advocate" saying he wanted to save lives endangered them through irresponsible drunk driving.
- Someone demanding controls on you and me could (or would) not control himself.
- What he really loathed turned out to be himself. He spent his professional life trying to "correct" everything but that. It's fair to wonder if the fixation on guns was because he knew what he might do with one.
He did do one thing I partially and qualifiedly approved of:
“If true that you are attempting to intervene in the work we are doing with celebrities on Demand A Plan and drive them toward Brady: don’t,” MAIG Executive Director Mark Glaze told Brady Campaign President Dan Gross in no uncertain terms via email. To be clear, that was not a request. That was an order.
