According to reality, firearm owners who keep their firearms locked or unloaded were more likely to die from a sudden intruder beating them to the draw than those who store their firearms unlocked and/or loaded.
Left unaddressed is a catalyst for suicides that no Democrat seems to want to talk about. Maybe ease up on the burdens and demands and not as many people on the brink will be driven over it.

100% of suicide victims who wanted to use their gun to kill themselves simply unlocked their gun and loaded it in order to commit the desired action.
