Seems like we're hearing more about hate crime hoaxes than about real hate crimes. Reminds me of an Ayn Rand quote from "Atlas Shrugged."
"Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them."
Some feel we don't have enough hate crimes, or perhaps not enough attention paid to the ones that do happen. In some cases they just want more attention paid to their own miserable snowflake existence.
Not enough goodie bags or participation trophies in adult reality perhaps.
