I guess we'll find out how committed Manchin and Sinema are when they say they oppose that. My guess is, even if they do cave, "red state" attorneys general will be making Constitutional arguments on why this is a tyrannical overreach that stands federalism on its head.
The desperation at the prospect of a majority shift is apparent.
