A NY Post item (https://nypost.com/2022/02/12/police-moving-to-end-canadian-trucker-protest-after-court-order/) stated: "The bridge blockade, which began Monday, prevented roughly $700,000 in goods from crossing between the US and Canada..." and that snipers were being deployed as part of the blockade breaking effort.
I'd guess that the 6 day blockade cost TPTB a lot more than $700k.
Harris/Biden/Whitmer, et al, push Ottawa to break the blockade by any means necessary while avoiding the optics (sic) of sending NatGuard/.mil to try such from our side of the river.
