We're the Fauxnly Ones...

And not just ordinary Fauxnly Ones...

BATFU Fauxnly Ones.

Deep in the heart of Project Gunwalker territory...

We're the Proto-Fauxnly Ones Disqualified Enough

This 19-year-old wants to be a cop — so he hacked into the police computer system, officers say [More]
His instincts to take what did not belong to him were right, but he committed the cardinal sin of getting caught.

The video at the end shows even the Only Ones acknowledge the danger of Fauxnly Ones. You're aware of this archive, right?  You never know when you might have to prove you had reason to doubt authenticity...

We're the Fauxnly Ones Lovestruck / We're the Only Ones Gullible Enough

Woman posed as out-of-state deputy to help boyfriend escape jail, officials say [More]
And the dopes fell for it.

Meaning if "trained professionals" can't tell the difference, how can you be expected to? Be aware of The Fauxnly Ones Files on the off chance you might need to ask that question to legally defend yourself some day.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Intrusive Enough

According to the police report, the renter responded to a knock at the door and the suspects told her they were with the East Point Police Department. [More]
Thank goodness they were only Fauxnly Ones.  Had they been real Only Ones, things would not have ended well.

You're aware of this archive, right?  You never know when you might have to prove you had reason to doubt authenticity...

We're the Fauxnly Ones Pulling Over Enough

Man arrested on suspicion of impersonating law enforcement officer -
Lloyd Chang, 61, accused of trying to pull over several vehicles [More]
As I've noted before, it wouldn't hurt to be aware of The Fauxnly Ones Files. You never know when an "I was afraid he might not be a real cop" defense could use some validation that it's a widespread and frequent enough phenomenon to be a legitimate concern.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Pulling for You Enough

Someone who may be posing as a police officer is pulling cars over on Mississippi highways and then shooting drivers dead, authorities said. [More]
The Fauxnly Ones...they're not as unheard of as some may think.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Masked Enough

Who was that masked man? [More]

It's so difficult to tell who's who these days...and not just by appearances.

We're the Fauxnly Ones...

Fake cops break into home with guns [More]
So how are we supposed to know and respond accordingly again?

You might want to keep track of stories like these. You just may need to defend yourself some day, and corroboration that your fears weren't unfounded can't hurt.

Just remember, you can always go to WarOnGuns and type in "fauxnly ones" in the search bar.

We're the Fauxnly Ones...

3 men posing as ATF agents break into home, kill resident [More]
But your honor, I guess I've read so many news accounts about the "Fauxnly Ones" that I reacted instinctively in self-defense when they attacked me...how was I supposed to know, when anyone can get a badge--and it's not exactly like they were behaving any differently...

We're the Fauxnly Ones Legit Enough

Dem State Rep Trying to Obtain Cocaine Impersonates, Threatens Cops - ‘I’m a legit officer doing a drug bust,’ Forestal told a couple, asking where to get drugs [More]
I like that he pulled family Democrat political connections and said he'd have their badges:

Do you know who I am???

Naturally, the punk has turned his Twitter and Facebook accounts off. And naturally, he doesn't think you're trustworthy enough to be armed.

As always, be aware of the Fauxnly Ones archive in case you ever need to prove that there are reasons to have doubts about whether someone accosting you is a real cop.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Roadblocking Enough

Fake police in Greeley direct driver into roadblock, question her about coronavirus stay-at-home order - Reports of police impersonation seem to be on the rise since the state’s stay-at-home order was issued [More]
You're aware of my Fauxnly Ones archive, right, with example after example to prove the phenomenon is hardly isolated or rare?  You never know when you might have to prove you had reason to doubt authenticity...

We're the Fauxnly Ones Fooling Enough

California retirement community security guard, 34, is arrested after 'faking being a federal agent for years, accompanying real officers on raids, parading in body armor and carrying firearms' [More]

So it really is as easy as they make it look on television? Flash a badge and welcome to the crime scene? No protocol to verify?

As always, be aware of the WarOnGuns Fauxnly Ones Archive, just in case your legal defense is that you weren't sure the scary person you resisted was really an "Only One" because fakes happen all the time, and based on results, some are good enough to fool the cops.

We're the 'Fauxnly Ones' Dangerous Enough

Judge: Man impersonating Chicago cop ‘danger’ to community [More]

Yes, he hadn't received the proper training to qualify for that.

Everyone here is aware of "The Fauxnly Ones Files," and how we never know when we might have to prove we had reason to doubt authenticity...?

We're the Fauxnly Ones Pretextual Enough

Police said he proceeded to ask the woman about her driving, asked for her information and briefly displayed what appeared to be a badge and a gun. [More]

But for the locked doors throwing him off his plan, it sounds like things could have gone very differently.

I always advise on stories like this to be aware of the "Fauxnly Ones" archive because you never know when you might have to prove you had reason to doubt authenticity.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Honorary Enough

A security guard attempted to stop Hawkins, who showed a sheriff’s office credential and claimed he was with the agency. He then threatened to arrest the security guard, officials said. Hawkins holds the honorary title of special deputy with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, but is not a certified law enforcement officer and has no arrest powers... [More]
Imagine how he'll behave if voters give him even more power.

And remember the lesson of the Fauxnly Ones, just in case your legal defense is that you weren't sure the scary person you resisted was really an "Only One."

We're the Fauxnly Ones Game Enough

Kirolos Abdel Sayed, 19, an auxiliary police officer, and his two buddies, Frank Santanastaso, 19, and Matthew Kirsheh, 20, allegedly strolled into the Staten Island Mall just after midnight and flashed a badge so they could get into a GameStop, cops said. [More]
I don't know what the powers of an auxiliary police officer are supposed to be, but the authoritarian little punk had the right attitude to go far until this...

Just in case you ever need to plead that you weren't sure people harassing you were real cops, don't forget there are plenty of "Fauxnly Ones" examples you can use in your defense to show that such concerns aren't groundless.

We're the Fauxnly Ones Half-Fledged Enough

The woman said Fremerman told her and her family that he was a full-fledged cop, claimed to pull people out of cars, train people to fire guns, and that he could tap into her cellphone. The woman told the detective that Fremerman pointed a loaded pistol at her head last September, though Fremerman later claimed the gun wasn’t loaded. [More]

He sounds like he had all the right qualifications except being able to get away with it.

As always, be aware of the Fauxnly Ones files. You never know when you might need to claim you had precedent-based reasons to doubt authenticity...

We're the Fauxnly Ones Unmasked Enough

Men at Florida hotel posed as U.S. marshals to avoid wearing masks, authorities say [More]

How do you get to be that old while being that stupid?

And everyone recalls the "Fauxnly Ones Files"  recommendation?

We're the Only Ones Stripping Enough

A TSA official said the badge and uniform represent "the professionalism of our employees and the seriousness of our work." [More]
Costume = Reality. Good grief, we used to do that when we were little kids--a towel becomes a cape, hold your arms out in front while you run, go "Whhhsssshhh...." through your teeth and suddenly you're  Superman.

Of course, the same could be said of real genuine authentic "Only Ones" complaining about the  TSA Fauxnly Ones.

And speaking of stripping "Only Ones," look what I found.

Gee, wasn't Kwame (How I love ya, how I love ya, my dear old Kwame) one of Furious Mike's fraudulent "authorities"...?

Law enforcement overkill, arrogance displayed in wrong apartment raid

The contention of Marshal Matt Wiggins, that “We were clearly the police. She can't say she didn't know,” notwithstanding, The War on Guns Blog has documented many instances of criminal home invasions done under the guise of being law enforcement raids. A companion category to its “Only Ones” files (dispelling the myth that police are the only ones who can be trusted with guns) titled “Fauxnly Ones” provides numerous examples from news accounts over the years. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes the real ones hardly seem any better than the fakes...
