Response to Presidential Platform Survey Inquiry

This is a response from WarOnGuns Correspondent "Laocoön" to a "Cruz for President" followup inquiry regarding their Presidential Platform Survey.
---
Dear Senator Cruz,

I've provided my concerns repeatedly, but they've been ignored. The only way to regain my support is to reverse your direction on legal immigration, 180 degrees. For the USA to have a hope of survival and of assimilating the flood of immigrants that has been accelerating since 1965, legal immigration must be slashed to zero for several decades, or at least back to the non-suicidal average levels (and criteria) that prevailed from the 1920s under President Coolidge through the 1950s under President Eisenhower.

Immigration is already an order of magnitude too high and too fast, but the policies you support would overwhelm us even more rapidly.

Well over 100 million Americans are unemployed, underemployed, or on some kind of welfare. 100% of the net jobs created in the USA since the year 2000 went to immigrants. We're underwater and drowning, yet you propose to open the flood gates wider, in some cases by a factor of 500% annually.

We're being culturally terraformed. Legal Hispanics, for example, are over 5 times as likely to identify with the Democrat party than the Republican party. Over-immigration is overwhelming the relatively conservative native born citizenry's voting control of the USA. The last 50 years since Kennedy's 1965 Immigration Act -- a Democrat Trojan Horse -- clearly show that we can't assimilate that many people that fast. Even if it were true that the second generations will vote like the average American -- which it isn't at these excessive, balkanizing levels -- and it's contrary to massive empirical evidence -- we would still lose the USA to the first generations, and the damage will be irreversible. It is our culture being assimilated and destroyed, along with our liberty, sovereignty, security, dignity, quality of life, freedom of movement, real per capita income, per capita national wealth, cost of living, standard of living, and our human and natural environments.

Please, see California. Do the Democrats have to gain an irreversible supermajority of a supermajority of the states before our side considers the overwhelming empirical evidence and realizes that open-immigration theory -- of the neo-Left-"Libertarians", of Julian Simon, of the Wall St Journal, of Rupert Murdoch, and of closet-Democrat Michael Bloomberg -- is fatally flawed? One cannot claim to be a conservative or a Republican while supporting immigration policies that will give Social Democrats and RINOs permanent control of the USA, the states, the courts, the police, the "security state", and the military.

America's history of immigration is not a morally binding suicide pact against future generations. Over-immigration is wrecking the USA, permanently. Trump, Santorum, Walker, and Carson have called for cutting legal immigration in the interest of American citizens first. Walker stepped up before Trump did. Santorum over a year ago. Carson just flipped, though he's still hedging. What are you waiting for?

Sincerely,
[Name Redacted]

P.S. By "legal Hispanics", I mean legal foreign born citizens and permanent residents. Illegals are of course more left leaning, whereas native born Hispanics are only 4.4 times as likely to identify with D over R. ... Based on Pew Research results.

Sure, Democrats Have Blacks and Hispanics, But We Have a Shot at Uber Drivers and Vapers!

Grover Norquist proves how delusional and deceptive his arguments are. [More]

Whether this imaginary "coalition" proves resentful enough to make a difference in November or not isn't even the point -- the "pathway to citizenship" he and Bloomberg and the cheap labor über alles Republicans are paving and adding speed lanes to will more than take care of elections after that.

WarOnGuns correspondent Carlos Perdue has posted two highly relevant comments so far  -- and since I can't seem to make individual comment links work, I'm going to copy and paste them here:

Groveler al Nor'Qu'ist's Saudi pals are the ones directly responsible for the destruction of all those jobs in America's oil shale drilling patch.

OMG. More delusional, deceptive nonsense from Bloomberg collaborator and islamophile quisling, Grover al Nor'Qu'ist (proper Arabic spelling of Norquist; please be sensitive).

Bloomberg and his gun-grabbing billionaire pals don't spend hundreds of millions of dollars for amnesty and open immigration to ensure "cheap labor" for Bloomberg's news operation. He's doing it to lock down his long-term gun ban strategy: The permanent cultural and political terraforming of the USA.

Grover al Nor'Qu'ist openly collaborates with Bloomberg's strategy to overrun our country and overwhelm the relatively conservative native-born citizenry's voting control with fast-breeding legal and illegal immigrants and their offspring, who will continue to lean overwhelmingly Democrat and anti-gun as they have increasingly since "Republicans" went along with Kennedy's 1965 Trojan Horse Immigration Act, since Reagan's and subsequent de facto and de jure amnesties, and since the gross dereliction and subversion by every president after Eisenhower of our most critical national defenses -- our own borders and immigration controls.

Unless the invasion-occupation-takeover of the USA is halted and reversed, anchor baby citizenship for the children of non-citizens abolished, and legal immigration slashed back to the kind of pleasant, beneficial, non-suicidal trickle we enjoyed from the 1920s under Coolidge through the 1950s under Eisenhower, then within 20 years thanks to the immigration Nor'Qu'islings, the Democrats will have permanent supermajority control of all branches of both the federal government and a supermajority of the states.

The vast majority of U.S. population growth since 1965 is due to government-sponsored over-immigration and invasion-occupation. The interest groups al Nor'Qu'ist cites are not in the same order of magnitude and will not even vaguely make up for the damage done by al Nor'Qu'ist's subversive immigration policies.

Laocoön Speaks

In re LaPierre at CPAC:
There's a reason Bloomberg and other anti-gun billionaires are spending hundreds of millions of dollars for amnesty and over-immigration, and it isn't "cheap labor".
Over-immigration and government-sponsored invasion-occupation-amnesty pose a looming, ultimately fatal threat to gun rights by overwhelming the relatively conservative native born citizenry's voting control of our country. It's an indirect coup d'etat really, without a shot fired. Yet many gun rights supporters claim that the NRA can't oppose amnesty because it's a single-issue group. Fairly bizarre, if you think about it, that a gun rights group can't even acknowledge a massive indirect threat to gun rights that is near the point of no return thanks to that group's gross negligence and passive-aggressive complicity.

But the NRA has never been a single-issue group, certainly not in our lifetime. LaPierre champions all sorts of conservative issues, all except the one conservative issue that if lost will irreversibly defeat all the other conservative issues, the one threat that is soon to lock down the victory of the full Bloomberg gun control agenda, the one that will give the Dems permanent supermajority control of the USA and every institution within it. There is no such thing as a pro-gun Democrat. The D party is an anti-gun institution, led by gun grabbers. *All* Dems are anti-gun regardless of superficial positions and phony NRA grades. They all support anti-gun leadership, all support anti-gun candidates like Obama, all confirm extreme anti-gun nominations, etc. Don't worry though, there will still be RINOs around providing Kabuki hope for chumps.
Only GOA has had the courage, diligence and integrity to acknowledge amnesty as a gun rights issue and try to do anything about it. In fairness, the gun rights intelligentsia is very, very busy on higher priority items, like congratulating themselves on all the legal victories Bloomberg & Co will have ratcheting power to begin rolling back within a decade. There will be plenty of time for the gun rights intelligentsia to discuss this threat once it's too late to stop. Convenient thing about waiting until it's too late is that then they won't have to even try to stop it. And that's very convenient indeed for those "gun rights champions" who passive-aggressively support Bloomberg & Company's immigration coup d'etat.
An addendum to anti-illegal immigration activists:
Please read David Codrea's article and forward. He has other articles that need to be given some exposure. Why, for Heaven's sake, is the immigration control community neglecting or burying this unique angle on the immigration issue which -- if these groups were willing to lift a pinkie -- they could easily use to make allies with 110 million gun owners and probably compel the most powerful citizen group to stand with us? I haven't seen a single immigration group forward or discuss any of David Codrea's articles or Gun Owners of America's alerts, even as news. These groups wouldn't have to take a partisan or pro-gun stand, but there's nothing stopping them from reporting it as *news* for cripe's sake, to let their members discuss it and *study* it on blogs and so forth. Not only is nothing stopping them, it's their duty.
Then again, these groups have long behaved as if our side has the luxury of leaving huge amounts of potential power on the table. Mindlessly lobbying the enemy, no credible election organization, claiming that subversion and gross dereliction facilitating invasion and carnage are "discretionary" and not impeachable, etc. Which is why they need to get used to losing big, beginning soon.
That's pretty much what we're dealing with. Smart and principled activism is the key element missing between organized internet fleecing and people saying "Screw it, bring it on."

I would like to thank my friend and adviser for his wisdom and support.

It's a Small World After All

I figured yesterday's column would be controversial.

A well-intentioned Facebook friend commented thusly:
Are we all assuming that these new arrivals aren't going to want the same things we do? I think that might be a bad assumption. As David just said: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Can we not co-opt them as easily as the progressives have?
That presupposes assumptions, rather than observations, were made. The burden is on anyone challenging the piece to address and refute each specific documented claim by presenting superior counter-documentation before making the ...uh... assumption that they are invalid and moving the discussion on to a new track. And in re suggesting it's just as easy to co-opt, again, the burden is on the proposer to flesh that out and explain what evidence he has to suppose that. Who is making assumptions here?

"Can't we all get along?" sounds like a great plan. I'm game. As long as getting along doesn't result in more dangers, burdens and infringements, and fewer Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity. I need more than a hopeful heart and platitudes here. Flesh out how "we" are going to  do it.  And how easy "easily" is.

I was pleased to receive the following via email from WarOnGuns Correspondent JM, who has agreed to let me share it here:
Outstanding article on immigration and gun control! I just emailed it to several of the Vdare.com writers, so hopefully one of them blogs about it. As a matter of coincidence, the NRA sent a letter to me today asking me to sign up. I think I will print off and include your column in my response!

One other point: if people calling themselves "libertarian" or who follow Koch Brothers funded establishment type "libertarians" who are generally pro-gun rights attempt to object to your article, you can always respond with this by the guy who literally created the modern day libertarian movement.

Rothbard starts on the immigration issue on page six. He remarks how he completely changed his views on free immigration when he witnessed Russia encourage mass immigration to Latvia and Estonia to destroy their culture and language during the fall of the Soviet Union. On page nine, Rothbard references how Latvia, Estonia, and Switzerland dealt with mass immigration by refusing to allow the immigrants to vote - thereby maintaining their values and culture.

If the founder of the modern day libertarian movement is not enough, here is another major figure in the modern day libertarian movement making the same case, albeit in much greater detail.

The main point Rothbard and Hoppe make is that this isn't "free labor" - but instead centrally planned economic policy in the form of mass immigration by the government since the market is not making these decisions.
Read that last sentence again. Who is co-opting whom here? And for what purpose?

Wrap-Up

WarOnGuns guest editorial by Russ Howard

Bye bye Tea Party.

Welcome back RINOs. "Con" will forever be the key syllable in conservative. Bizarro USA will be like the "post-war British consensus" in which "wet conservative" collaborators rolled for everything. The extent of Republican "conservatism" will be to tinker and "fix" the welfare state around the edges, reign in just enough of the excesses and idiocies to help ratchet it down for keeps.

"Young, pragmatic, Hispanic, just what GOP needs"

Yeah, that's just what we need. More Panic Hispandering, more "prags" to accelerate the race-based voting, appeasement, amnesty, and 3rd-world invasion that tilted the playing field to a high pitch over the last 30 years. Third-world immigrants, especially the extended families of illegal aliens, are NOT going to vote majority Republican. They'll be glad to accept your foolish appeasement, but the vast majority will continue to vote D to lock down the goodies, invasion, coup d'etat and "reconquista" which the idiot Republican "U.S." Chamber of Commerce waterboy collaborators facilitated and did nothing to stop. They'll vote 2-1 Democrat (before counting multiple pseudonymous voting), but many Republicans are so stupid they think we can make up for the per-unit loss by increasing volume.

This presidential election and countless smaller ones, were stolen.O was gonna go -- unless there was massive vote fraud. Which there was, thanks to wishful Republican thinking. In California and too many other states fraudsters can show up to vote without ID and the "authorities" simply take their word for it. 20 years ago when California was already demographically lost on a time delay fuse thanks to Reagan's amnesty (and Republicans were deluding themselves that they could take it back with the old tired loser strategies), the Institute for Fair Elections filmed a couple going from poll to poll doing this. Republican prosecutors and a Republican Secretary of State hushed it up and did nothing.

But it's really easier than that, since you don't even have to leave home to steal votes, thanks to ... tah dah ... Republicans. In California it was a Republican L.A. County Supervisor who championed the suicidal system of mail-in registration and "absentee" balloting that enabled Democrats and illegals to vote as many times as they want with impunity. Pseudonymous multiple voting fraud is extensive because there are no real safeguards and because it is rarely investigated or prosecuted even in the most egregious cases. The defunct IFFE and other groups documented it extensively and were ignored.

But it's even easier than that, since Rs bent over for black box electronic voting and vote "counting", so now Ds and "Rs" don't even have to go to the trouble of registering & voting multiple times. Just "count" the vote. No paper trail. "Quis custodiet custodes?" isn't even the question anymore. Paper ballots and old school counts weren't perfect, but they were the least of evils.

Must-see HBO special: "Hacking Democracy" (over an hour, so I humbly recommend the reader finish reading this and then watch it).
www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=rVTXbARGXso&NR=1[Disclaimer: I do try to distinguish between Republicans and "Republicans", but it's gets too cumbersome sometimes, and of course there's overlap, so the reader will sometimes just have to try to figure out which one I'm referring to. By "Republicans" I mean RINOs and corrupt politicians with Rs after their name. No corrupt pol is a Republican in an honest, accurate sense of the word. Pretty clear that much of the corrupt "Republican" establishment is in on the fraud, which would explain better than idiocy and denial why "Republican" leaders refuse to talk about it. That Ds are in on it would explain why Kerry didn't contest in 2004. How do you cry black box fraud when your side's doing it too and the other side just did more of it? So elections are being stolen by corrupt forces of both parties, though Ds on balance benefited more in 2012, and on balance over time it will move the country in a corrupt, banana-republic, statist, big-government direction - whoever wins, D or "R".]

But Republicans continue in self-delusion and dismissal mode. They don't want to know, let alone do anything, as they have for the last 30 years. They want to keep being "good sportsmen" -- in other words the best, most gracious LOSERS in the world. Double down on the same loser tactics, on the failure to organize and act, and on the betrayals and appeasement that got us here in the first place.

Besides the swing states it was thought Romney would take, and the crude election tampering and intimidation shenanigans in banana republic locales like Philadelphia, one fraud indicator that stinks is Col Allen West's Florida congressional seat, apparently lost to a 20-something ex-RINO. West was polling between one and nine points ahead, but now with 110% of the votes "counted", he's down almost 1%.

We've had elections stolen for many years, more and more frequently. Each stolen election is a bloodless coup d'etat, but Republicans pretend it's not happening, or shrug it off as if it were little kids playing a prank and not an act of war against the Republic by domestic enemies. They would rather pretend Al Qaeda is the big threat or some other foreign enemy. Much more sexy.

Now, with black box systems and no ID required, we're more vulnerable to fraud than many 3rd-world countries, worse really because so many Rs are indoctrinated with the fairy tale that the USA can never be destroyed, that it will always bounce back no matter how bad the fraud, demographics and incentives are weighted against us, that it can't happen here. Anyone for pattycake?

A good indication Republicans will continue to live in denial of this was Rush Limbaugh on the morning after, doing the profoundly obvious mantra that The Problem is that not enough Republicans can deliver The Message well enough. "We just have to be better at delivering The Message." Well we better get really, incredibly better if we expect to explain it to a Tsunami of illiterate "cheap labor", government school graduates, and the "53%" -- and overcome black-box vote rigging on top of it all. It's unrealistic to think our side will get that good. Like the "good sportsmen" they are, Republicans are the best losers in the world. They have to be. They accepted the challenge of so many handicaps, let the field get so tilted that we can't just get better if we want to take it back, we have to get perfect. There's no longer any slack to cover mistakes.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a game. It was a war for our culture and our Republic. The notion that we could afford to bend over for multiple handicaps and we just have to get better at explaining our philosophy is what Republicans have pushed for 30 years, even while they helped derail "radical" tuition voucher initiatives that would've bankrupted the Government-Union/Democrat machine by now -- just by being on the ballot every couple years, let alone passing. And how much better would things be now if every parent had been able to afford to send kids to competitive schools that are not centers of indoctrination, illiteracy and perversion?

Perhaps our side could've won with a bit more registration and GOTV, but next time we would have to do ten times as much of it, and all of us become the perfect superactivist organizers, and that's hardly likely. No party can do things perfectly. That's why we couldn't afford to accept permanent long-game handicaps; we needed slack to absorb inevitable mistakes. By long game, I mean in the much vaunted Chinese sense. You have to accept imperfection, not systematic betrayals and treason. Republicans pissed away our slack through betrayals, dereliction and fairy tale wishful thinking.

But hey, at least Republicans saved Iraq and Afghanistan by preemptive quagmire while they were losing the USA. At least everyone on FoxNews got to play anti-terror strategist and say GITMO instead of Guantanamo Bay (while our own borders were wide open during a "war on terror" and Jihadis were sauntering in and breeding anchor Jihadis). How glamorous. Was it worth it? Really worth it? Maybe we can move to Iraq and Afghanistan and they will give us sanctuary cities and drivers licenses and resident tuition. They're obviously ever so grateful and honorable. No doubt they'll return the favor.

Four centuries after Lepanto, and for at least the last 200 years, the only real threat of Islam to what used to be the west has been immigration, not military attack. Idiots. Like Communism, Islam is not competent to threaten our existence -- that is unless the West decides to lose or just doesn't care anymore. The actual threat that is and has been actually destroying the USA, is internal -- domestic enemies -- and imported courtesy of those domestic enemies. Who's taking your rights away and pissing your country away? Al Qaeda, or the Ds and "R"s? What's your actual chance of being hurt by Al Qaeda? Right around zero percent. What's your chance of the Democrats and RINOs taking your rights away, your country, your quality of life, your liberty, and the legitimacy of your republic, making your vote worthless? 100 percent. They're doing it right now.

Republican "Patriots" should've known that all the Orwellian police state placebos they passed after 911 -- instead of ending the suicidal immigration policies that caused 911 in the first place and cost us the USA on Tuesday -- would be used primarily on Americans. Feel secure now? As always, the greater threat to America and Americans was never primitive Jihadis or other foreign enemies. It was always our own corrupt, lame-o leaders, who laid out the welcome rug for Jihadis in the first place. God help us, we now get the government the stupid a-holes deserve.

Hey, somebody thank the NRA for re-electing Montana's anti-gun Democrat Senator Tester by giving him a phony A- and refusing to endorse his opponent. We didn't have any slack for that kind of game on election day, and now it's too late to do the right thing. Game over. Well, for us anyway, not for the beltway lobbyist whores. It's smiley-face "game on" for them.

Now, for the "What Would Reagan Do" worshippers. The USA is also dead man walking today thanks to Reagan's suicidal 1986 "comprehensive reform" amnesty, the worst field tilter since the Great Society and New Deal (well, other than black box voting anyway). Reagan could've honored his oath, enforced our borders and immigration laws, reversed the problem as Eisenhower did in the 1950s. Instead, 26 years after Reagan's betrayal, we have to overcome tens of millions of votes of former illegals and now-voting-age anchor babies. But at least "Reagan defeated the Soviet Union". Really? How? By deciding he didn't want to let the Soviet Union defeat the USA? As if Communism didn't defeat itself? As if the theoretical threat of the USSR was ever a greater threat to the existence of the USA as a true sovereign constitutional republic than the actual invasion Reagan encouraged and ratified? LOOK AROUND. And someone tell me how cutting taxes without cutting spending was such a good deal. Did I miss those spending cuts? Were there any? Did I misinterpret the last 30 years of Republicans championing tax cuts in order to increase government revenues and not have to cut spending?

For the "miss me now" Bush rehabilitators, I won't get into the idiot non-savant GW "Guest Worker" Bush except to point out that he built up the real estate bubble by importing more "cheap labor" after 911 than the prior several presidents did before 911, did nothing to stop mortgages to illegals and others who never should've had them, then turned what had been a gradual correction into a panic and collapse by championing and signing the Mortgage Debt Forgiveness Relief Act of December 2007. Tens of millions of homeowners for whom a smirky, winky Bush had spread a ridiculous "compassionate conservative" fairy tale -- that they didn't understand the basic terms of the biggest investment they ever made -- who could've kept paying and would have kept paying even though they had negative equity -- began moving towards recorded defaults or were able to force banks to let them get away with unrecorded defaults and keep the homes anyway (aka principle and interest "relief"). The mortgage portfolio, bank and credit markets inevitably collapsed within months. With that alone, not to mention the preemptive quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan, Bush begat Obama. Well get used to it. Idiots like Bush are back in style for the post-war U.S. consensus.

Finally

Open, uncontrolled mass 3rd world over-immigration IS socialism by automatic redistribution of national wealth and income, inevitably and by definition, in addition to destruction of our sovereignty, heritage, human and natural environments, elbow room, privacy, dignity, mobility, freedom, liberty, heritage, standard of living, cost of living and quality of life. Through subversion of immigration policy and borders, the Wall Street Journal, Chamber of Commerce, 'Libertarians' and the rest of the Immigration Socialist crowd has redistributed or destroyed far more wealth and income than the world's Communists ever dreamed of doing. Every time the Immigration Socialists double the population of the USA through immigration, they cut your share of "public property" in half. It's YOUR property, but the 'U.S.' Chamber of Communists treats it as if it belongs to the world or is theirs to give away.

Culture Shock

That’s why opposition to large-scale Muslim immigration into Europe (or America) also has little or nothing to do with xenophobia, racism (Muslim is not a race anyway) or nativism. It has to do with changing European values. Large-scale Muslim immigration to Europe will do to Europe’s values what large-scale northern-state immigration has done to Florida and what large-scale European immigration did to the native culture of North America. [More]
First of all,if you subscribe to the Bering Strait land bridge theory, there are no "native Americans." But the point is ceded and recalls an argument I've made before:
What I would admit to is being a culturist and an ideologist, noting that some cultures and ideologies are superior at encouraging individualism, liberty, prosperity and innovation over others.

GOA Defaults on Pledge to Score Immigration on Candidate Grades

So why, when I check GOA’s Congressional ratings, do I see Steve Chabot rated “A,” while immigration watchdog site  Numbers USA scores him at “F-” ? Brad Renstrup gets a “D” on immigration issues and an”A” from GOA. William Johnson gets an “A” from GOA and a “C-” from Numbers USA. Pat Tiberi gets a GOA “B” and an immigration group “F.” James Renacci gets an “A-” from Gun Owners and a “D-” from Numbers. [More]
I expect I'm probably going to lose some "friends" over this one. I don't expect I'll lose any real ones.

Awaiting Moderation? This Needs to Be Seen NOW...

Ain't it something...?  Examiner's DISQUS moderator has no problem letting pure unadulterated spam slip through, but get a relevant comment and forget it--particularly one that is time-critical, as after today it won't be able to do any good.  Meaning my tech support ticket won't solve anything until it's too late.

So I guess I'd best post this here, in re the McDaniel/Cochran race:
Terrific article. Thanks. The crying shame is that we could've had several *dozen* Brat-Cantor-type upsets, had the gun rights, tea party, conservative and Republican
communities graded honestly and lifted a finger. Not least, we could've forced Lindsey Graham into a runoff and then defeated him. For evidence, one need only see the Brat-Cantor race. Brat went from being down 33 points to winning by 12 in one month, thanks to haphazard grassroots and talking head support, and thanks to the endorsement, ads and robocalling for Brat by Gun Owners of America. Cantor was defeated despite the NRA endorsing and campaigning for him, despite GOA's failure to downgrade Cantor from an A to the D or F he deserves (thus undermining GOA's own national endorsement and spending for Brat) and despite the national Sterile Bee Queen "Tea Party" groups' passive-aggressive or open support for Cantor, open-immigration and amnesty. Lindsey Graham avoided a runoff by just 9% against 6 more conservative candidates. Given the rapid Brat swing, Graham could've easily lost by 9% instead, forced into a runoff, then defeated, if the major loyal American organizations and talking heads had lifted a finger. At least Graham was only rated C by GOA. But, had GOA's grade reflected GOA's observation of the effect of open immigration on gun rights, Graham would've been an F, that alone might have been enough to hold him to a runoff.

The national "Tea Party" groups "stayed out" of the Brat-Cantor race, yet immediately took credit for it in their typical, fraudulent, Nigerian-style fundraising emails. All major "Tea Party" groups either openly endorse amnesty or passive-aggressively support it (e.g., Club for Growth). Sal Russo's "Tea Party" Express has endorsed amnesty, < http://theteaparty.net/>TheTeaParty.net is in bed with the open-immigration San Francisco neo-"Libertarian" group The Independent Institute (effectively an "Immigration-Socialist" group), and "FreedomWorks" was founded by openly
pro-amnesty beltway lobbyist and Chamber of Commerce waterboy Dick "Amnesty" Armey. All these groups, including "Tea Party Patriots", suck money out of Tea Party candidate coffers with hysterical, fundraising cons claiming to support certain candidates or issues -- 95% of the money actually goes for lavish salaries and sweetheart consulting contracts.

Joe Miller has clearly and consistently opposed
and exposed amnesty in personal communications and campaign emails. e.g.,
< http://joemiller.us/2013/06/amnesty-another-ruling-class-effort-to-destroy-America > http://joemiller.us/2013/06/am...
Also, Miller's opponents are waterboys for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Hence, it's incredible that Miller has no NumbersUSA rating, which means either NumbersUSA neglected to send it to him and make sure he got it, or he declined or neglected to fill out their questionnaire. I emailed Miller and his campaign about this last week, so if he
refuses or neglects to reply or fill it out, then he will pay a price, including my support. I've been a Miller donor since 2010.

The Most Important Election?

I found this release by my friend Russ Howard to be an interesting analysis on why losing the House will not derail one of George Bush's main priorities, but will actually help him move it forward.
It’s increasingly clear the main threat facing American Citizens, our Constitution (including the 2nd Amendment), and our freedoms, culture, environment, and quality of life, is the “perfect storm” of venal, criminal, treasonous interests conspiring to subvert America’s borders, immigration limits, and sovereignty.

Voter unhappiness with Bush - combined with the Republican base's disgust with phony Rs - is likely to cost the R Party control of Congress, but not the Senate. Many see voting against Rs in congress as voting against Bush. Unfortunately, it helps him. As phony, self-serving, worthless, and disappointing as many "Republicans" in congress are, they did something right this year: R control of Congress was the only thing standing against Bush's comprehensive immigration “reform”. Virtually all D politicians voted for it, and the R Senate passed it. So giving Democrats the House probably gives GW “Guest Worker” Bush what he most eagerly wants: Amnesty & Open Borders. The destruction of America’s sovereignty, via the end of meaningful limits on immigration, would be the ultimate legislative coup of any President. This may be the most important election in American history, because it could lead to the end of American history.

Despite the overwhelming majority Americans opposing open borders, if Rs lose the House, legislators will be tempted to quickly cram down Amnesty and “Guest” Workers, leaving maximum time to cover tracks before the next election. Voters will be upset, but the law will be vastly harder to repeal than it was to stop or to pass. Even if voters were hot enough in two years to toss Congress and elect a loyal President, the Chamber of Commerce and other treasonous groups would need to keep just 40 whores in the Senate to block repeal. They have twice that many. The damage may be practically irreversible. Meanwhile, with Ds running congress, R fundraising will skyrocket and the RINO elite will use diversionary meat puppet issues, exploiting values and patriotism it doesn't share, to trick the base back into serfdom.

In May, the conservative, normally pro-Bush Heritage Foundation estimated the original Senate “Guest” Worker / Amnesty bill would increase immigration by up to 200 million in 20 years, not including Anchor Babies. Given 3rd-World birth rates, it could've doubled our population in 20 years. With the R House out of the way and less need to compromise, any post-election cramdown bill may be even worse.

Action Item? Maybe too late, but if your R congressman helped block the Senate's open border / amnesty scheme and is in a close race, it won't hurt to volunteer at the HQ for last minute Get Out The Vote. There’s also a website for GOTV from home. www.GOP.com/Call

Some Democrats in congress oppose amnesty & “G”W, but when push comes to shove, with Ds running the House, they will work with their leaders to pass it.

Thank You For Your Service. Now Get Out.

Cryptic Subterranean relays what's happening to Walter Gaya, "an Army sniper...injured in an IED attack on a Stryker he was travelling in. He was eight days away from being sworn in as an American citizen..."

Now, he's in a bureaucratic black hole: Federal immigration officials wouldn't renew his permanent resident card or tell him when he could reschedule the swearing-in ceremony. No one at the local U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office could tell him what to do next to get his citizenship papers, or even how to renew his immigration documents.

I hope it's not because Immigration and Customs management is preoccupied with exposing themselves to teenage girls at malls...

UPDATE: Never mind.

With Friends Like These

Kirk quickly defended immigration saying that so long as illegal immigration is curtailed, he’s fine with it. He believes that anti-immigration conservatives are “dangerous.” [More]

When in Rome

Muslims are forbidden by their religious law, Shariah, from paying interest on loans so they must be offered loans structured in such a way that interest is not part of the package. [More]
Naturally, the money-worshipers are tripping all over themselves to accommodate, which accounts for this:
The Obama administration, with the full support of Congress, is following an immigration policy that allows at least 100,000 Muslims into the country every year, according to U.S. Census data.
But don't worry, recognizing the Founders told us what was necessary to the security of a free state, our diversity through all this immigration leading to a pathway to citizenship can only make us stronger, right?

Well... not exactly:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced Tuesday that it will no longer require incoming U.S. citizens to declare that they will bear arms on behalf of the United States, as stipulated in the Oath of Allegiance.
I wonder how many will have no problem bearing arms on behalf of something else.

So Much for Being "Owned by the Gun Manufacturers"

Even CNN admits  the money comes from the grassroots, making this a good link to have the next time you run across a Prozi troll spreading lies. [More]

That said, the bit about the computer programmer from Texas tithing to Fairfax, the subject of another CNN piece, elicited a response from WarOnGuns Correspondent Laocoön. I don't see where his comment was allowed, so I need to post it here rather than link to it: :
What a sucker.
1. The NRA raises $400 MILLION dollars a year, most of it wasted and stuffed into the pockets of greedy staff, sweetheart vendors, corrupt directors, phony "pro gun" politicians, and other parasites who don't give crap one about 2A or are actually working passive-aggressively to destroy 2A and the USA itself.
2. Wayne LaPierre's "package", the disclosed part of it anyway, is over $2 million; Pepe LaPew's pay alone is about the size of the entire budget of Gun Owners of America.
3. There is no such thing as a pro-gun Democrat politician. ALL Democrats are working for gun control and the destruction of the USA. Every last one. There is no such thing as a Dem who never supports openly anti-gun Dems for other offices (e.g., President), never votes to confirm anti-gun nominations for judiciary and enforcement positions (e.g., Sotomayor, Kagan, Holder), never votes for gun grabbers for leadership positions (e.g., Pelosi Galore, The Harry Reid), never votes for the cultural terraforming and takeover of the USA through over-immigration, invasion, occupation, de facto amnesty and de jure amnesty.
4. The NRA passive-aggressively works for the permanent destruction of the Republican party, 2A and the USA in countless ways. For example, the NRA donates millions of dollars, alongside Michael Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch, to defeat true conservatives in the primaries and re-elect corrupt RINOs. For example, NRA donated hundreds of thousands defeating Chris McDaniel in Mississippi & re-electing corrupt RINO Thad Cochran, and trying to defeat Dave Brat & re-elect Cantor in Virginia.
5. Bloomberg collaborator, Islamophile, open-immigration/amnesty subversive, Left-"Libertarian" phony tax reformer Grover Norquist is the darling of the NRA board of directors.
6. The suicidal immigration policies passive-aggressive supported by the NRA and actively supported by Norquisling are in the process of causing irreversible cultural and political terraforming of the USA. Within 20 years the Dems will have permanent supermajority control of the federal government and a supermajority of the states. Enough to win every key legislative battle, nomination battle, judicial battle and enforcement battle. Enough to control all arms of government including executive, legislative, judiciary, police, "security", spy, and military. Enough to legally change the Constitution at will. So say goodbye to your guns, liberty, country, quality of life, culture, property, standard of living, etc.

Cody Wilson Arrested

Cody Wilson, a leading proponent of 3-D printed guns, has been arrested in Taiwan after being charged in Texas with sexually assaulting a 16-year old girl there, Taiwanese officials said on Friday. [More]
What I don't see is the Taiwanese charge -- since there's "no extradition treaty in force" and he's been "delivered ... to the National Immigration Agency," will they deport him on a rescinded visa rap or what?

See earlier WoG entries here and here.

[Via John Crump]

UPDATE (Translated from Chinese):
The Immigration Department pointed out that the American 3D printing gun godfather Wilson, who is suspected of sexually assaulting a girl, has been deregistered from the United States because of his passport has been cancelled. The police can arrest and send it to the police. The Immigration Department will temporarily hold the lien, which will be handled in accordance with the bilateral consultation mechanism and China's decree. Will be deported and will be taken over by the United States.

Chipman Not the Only Threat

"Ur Jaddou is a mass immigration amnesty advocate who will undoubtedly try to bend, or outright ignore, countless rules and laws expressly designed to exclude people who do not qualify for immigration benefits. If she is confirmed, gone are the days of focusing on fairness, lawfulness, efficiency, protecting American workers, and safeguarding the homeland. "Much like when her boss, current DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, ran USCIS under President Obama, the agency's mission will be to rubber stamp immigration benefits regardless of eligibility or evidence of fraud." [More]

She's also being considered in today's hearing.

Fortunately, people who present no corroborating data and argue in non-sequiturs tell us this has nothing to do with that "single issue"...

Mexican Gun Control Doesn’t Work, But Mass Immigration Could Bring It Here Anyway

If the National Rifle Association really wanted to safeguard the Second Amendment, it should come out for an immigration shutdown.  Indeed, David Codrea at Ammoland recently blasted the way the NRA gives “A” grades” to those who vote “right” on guns but support liberal immigration policies which will make the Second Amendment inoperative... [More]
I'm glad to see others picking up on this, that it does, in fact, profoundly endanger that "single issue."  If you agree, we need to see a lot more articles like this, and we need to see the message repeated and amplified until it escapes the echo chamber and friendly politicians assign it the status of a campaign issue talking point.

Whatever It Takes?

Our campaign stands ready to do whatever it takes to stop the bastardaziation of our constitutional rights. [More]
Whatever?
IMMIGRATION AND BORDER SECURITY: There is already a southern border wall, it needs to be improved and repaired. The data shows that we have too many illegal immigrants coming into the country that are causing the court system and jails to be substantially overloaded and consequently costing taxpayers substantial amounts of money to deal with the problem. The immigration process needs to be fixed to review and expedite cases.
So-- not a word about those already here, "amnesty," a "pathway to citizenship" and "birthright citizenship"? Not a word about how the "legal" cheap labor side of things creates the same dangers?

I look at that statement coming from someone with an obvious capability to indulge in fiery rhetoric when he wants to, and I wonder how it differs in essence from Michael "fixing the broken immigration system" Bloomberg's.

If that's the best the guy can do, forgive me for invoking Fletcher.

Sometimes, the way just the right buzz words evoke a Pavlovian response reminds me of the town hall audience when Lois Griffin ran for mayor.

You'll Have to Forgive My Cognitive Dissonance Confusion Here

In addition, Gun for Hire owner Anthony Colandro, who is a Stigma Free Task Force member, also supports the Be SMART gun safety initiative, and will provide this vital information to range patrons. [More]

Teaming up with Moms Demand and publicly validating those working for "lock up your safety" to be the "law"? Seriously? Who does he think he is, Rob Pincus?

First, he was endorsed by the "Saviors", who reject immigration voting demographic changes as a "single issue" concern, despite his publicly stated position:

As for as immigration goes, yes, the politicians should pay the price for not securing out Nation for the immigration invasion. We now have a three-tier system in the US. Political elites first, criminals and illegals second, and we the tax paying law-abiding citizens third. I have had enough!

He also promised he would "inform members of [his] performance and voting record [and] let us know when he dissent[ed with NRA management] and why":

Yes I will, and I will use my podcast and all social media platforms to state my voting record as well as my dissent. I am an open book with no filter. I am not doing this for the title or the free Danish. If elected I represent the members not management. Something our politicians long forgot as well.

Anybody see that after he was seated?

So what falls on me now is did I get suckered?

Feel free to post a comment to tell me (and everyone who reads this) why I've got you all wrong, Mr. Colandro.

Other Key Facts

Comment from "Carlos Perdue" under yesterday's GRE:
Excellent article. Another key fact, Obamacare passed cloture with exactly 60 votes. Only one Democrat would have needed to be flipped and it never would have passed. On Christmas eve day 2009, the day of the cloture vote, the NRA had 10 "A" & "A+" rated Dems, 2 "B" rated (including Harry Reid), and 4 "C" rated. They could've easily flipped one D for the reasons Mr. Codrea points out. But they followed the establishment Republican/NRA tradition and worked with Reid & Obama to "fix" a socialist program, giving "A" & "B" rated Dems in pro-gun states the necessary cover to vote for it. Doesn't take much searching to find articles with statements like this: "U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wrote the now famous Obamacare gun provision which he inserted into PL 111-148 with the help of NRA President Wayne LaPierre. Why would a Democrat, Senator Reid, do this? When Senator Reid was up for re-election a couple years ago, he (a well known gun advocate) contacted Mr. LaPierre to help him get gun owners to vote for him." The NRA is responsible for the passage of Obamacare. But the NRA can now undo the damage and play the key role in repealing it. For the reasons Mr. Codrea discusses, now that 0-care is increasingly unpopular with the electorate and even anti-gun Democrats like Schumer are showing buyer's remorse, if the NRA does the right thing it could be easier in 2015 to get a 2/3 majority of those voting (e.g. 12 D votes for 66/99), than it would've been to get just one vote to kill it in the first place on Christmas eve day 2009. That's because it may again be the case that all the NRA has to do is flip one vote and the rest will follow, like the cascading fall of the Iron Curtain after Poland legalized Solidarity and it won 99% of the seats up for election, followed by the mass defection of 600 East Germans into Austria at the Pan-European Picnic. Given Zerocare's unpopularity and buyer's regret, it would most assuredly be far easier to get one "A" to flip now than it would've been in 2009, even though there are not as many "A" rated Dems now. But chances are the NRA would get every "A", and some or all "Bs" and "Cs", and indirectly some Ds and Fs, like Schumer. The NRA can be pressured to do the right thing by members, gun rights activists and conservatives calling talk shows, and by quitting NRA and moving to Gun Owners of America. GOA identified Obamacare as gun control and a Trojan Horse confiscation vehicle from day one, still maintains that position, and never fell for the Reid-NRA "fix". Similarly, the NRA is the key to winning the immigration/amnesty issue. The same pressure can be applied to get the NRA to stop indirectly supporting amnesty and excessive immigration. GOA has been alone among national gun rights groups in identifying invasion and amnesty as the great destroyer of gun rights in America, pointing to the tragic immigration-induced loss of California and studies showing that today's immigrants, including Catholics, come from corrupt, anti-freedom, anti-gun cultures and continue to lean heavily Democrat, socialist, and anti-gun after they get here despite craven establishment-Republican his pandering efforts. Others such as Rush Limbaugh observe that "Amnesty is Republican Party Suicide" -- which means it is also permanent gun rights suicide.
Those are important factors to include in the mix.  Compare them to this bit of "apologia":

Looks like the type of "reasoned" sentiment we routinely see from self-styled "pragmatists" arguing limited "political capital," doesn't it?  Thing is, a quick click on the guy's DISQUS profile shows other comments including "Another Teahadist meets her maker" in response to a "gundeath" from someone who actually appeared to be one of his. That marks him as a troll, acting out the demonstrable sadist-psychopath / infiltrator-disruptor role that defines such pathetic moral and intellectual defectives.

Still, the comment is not without value -- just as we see editorials and statements by doctrinaire Democrats advising what Republicans should do on this or that issue -- under the guise of being helpfully observant, of course -- what's really happening is they're hoping idiots will be persuaded to put their (and our) heads in a noose. What's obvious is, "progressives" do not want NRA to become more effective by including issues that impact gun rights in the scoring criteria -- and that ostensible "pro-gun" voices discouraging that by crying "Single issue!" (a demonstrably false excuse) are pulling on the same side of the rope as the gun-grabbers.

They can try, but there's no getting around that key fact.

Coming Soon to a Caliphate Near You

A staggering 31,725 illegal immigrants from countries that aid and abet terrorist organizations received deportation orders from U.S. immigration courts from 2003 through 2015, but what became of them is anyone’s guess, finds a report by a former immigration judge at the behest of the Center for Immigration Studies. [More]
