Now Showing as a Blip on Radar Screens Near You
They remain under the radar for now, but expect to hear a lot more about the dual April 19 rallies that will bring anti-government and pro-gun groups to the Washington region. [More]Well that's not true. There are groups that wish to respect the Constitution, but that's hardly anti-government.
Goodness, gracious. First the mad cow and now WaPo. The radar screens are lighting up.
I've watched with some surprise as the Oath Keepers, battered a bit by reports that call them "extremists," get more mainstream conservative acceptance.About time some of these freakin' self-styled "conservatives" woke up.
There can be no peace with some of the comment posters--they're bound and determined to seethe in ignorance and hatred. Let 'em.
Good thing for us that they impose a key disadvantage on themselves. I mean in addition to being satisfied Rapex customers.

We need to do that here, too.
By "we" I mean "they". I plead "Not guilty."
My tribe is ideological. What we as individuals look like or where our forebears came from has no bearing on acceptance and belonging.
Gun Owners Can Build Bridges with Medical Community
By familiarizing ourselves with some of the medical community's "pro-gun players" and their works, we're in a better position to persuade doctors, who may have unquestioningly accepted certain anti-gun tenets, into taking a closer look. And being able to introduce them to peers who present findings through professional journals lends a credibility that should encourage at least the fair-minded into doing just that. Extract of a letter from Kildare, Monmouth county, April 9, 1778.
"About 135 of the enemy landed on Sunday last [5 Apr 1778] about ten o'clock, on the south side of Squan inlet, burnt all the salt-works, broke the kettles, &c. stripped the beds, &c. of some people there, who I fear, wish'd to serve them then crossed the river and burnt all excepting Dirrick Longstreet's: after this mischief they embarked. The next day they landed at Shark river and set fire to two small works, when they observed fifteen horsemen heave in sight, which occasioned them to retreat with great precipitation, indeed they jumped in their flat-bottomed boats in such confusion that they sunk one or two of them. "Der Feuer" Continues Hate Campaign Against Gun Owners
A California Democrat is proposing a new law requiring residents to register their shotguns and rifles or go to jail...Feuer is no friend of firearms owners...[More]Talk about an understatement.
Hey, it's nice to know that they have a handle on real crime in Kollyfornya and that the Golden State economy is healthy enough to handle the extra load in terms of record keeping, policing, prosecution and jailing of otherwise productive citizens. So nobody is going to be coming to the rest of us for a bailout because they're "too big to fail" or anything, right?
"Der" knows his proposal will have no effect on crime other than to squander limited law enforcement resources and create a new class of "criminal." It's been the same with every other attack on freedom he's gotten ink for over the years.
So why does he do it?
Easy.
Because he hates you and he can.
Because his constituents let him.

A Case of Mistaken Identity

I actually take heart reading stuff like this. Conflating us with Nixon, who wanted to ban handguns, and Bloomberg...?
Sun Tzu advises to know your enemy. They're oblivious to who we are and what we believe, and prefer instead to follow in lockstep like lemmings the talking points put out there to demonize/dehumanize us.
It's a two-edged sword--while it creates a dangerous climate for us as a group being vilified, the differences from, say, 70 years ago in Europe, are that we are not ethnically separable, we are not segregated into enclaves and we are not unarmed.
Look at some of the tags--these creatures think our motivational inspiration comes from Rush Limbaugh? Sarah Palin? Michelle Bachman and Glenn Beck?
I say let them think we're too dumb to form independent thought without corporate media and Republican establishment leaders, and dismiss us as as low tooth-to-head ratio slack-jawed yokels. Knowing the skills some non-urban folk have at the basics, from a strictly Darwinian sense we'll see who is more highly adaptable when TSHTF.
