Arrested Development in Georgia Gun Case

An "Authorized Law Enforcement Officer" has been ordered by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, to make an arrest in a machine gun case.

Guess who they're arresting?

Wrong. Not "who."

"What."

Seriously. [More]
My Gun Rights Examiner column for today follows up on Len Savage and the duct-taped upper declared a machine gun.

Links to previous reports and documents, including the warrant, the complaint and ATF correspondence are included.

This has the potential to be a very important case that will impact other manufacturers. I expect it will also provoke a lot of discussion of gun forums. At least it will if some of you post a link to the column on them.

As always, please share it with your friends.

I keep hearing that there are hundreds of ATF agents out there trying to do the "right thing"... Who believe in "fighting crime"... Who take their oath to support and defend the Constitution seriously...
Who believe in going after genuine bad guys, instead of creating paper criminals...

I wonder how many of those "genuinely good guys" are going to look up the chain of command, today, and say,

"No. This is immoral. It is a bad idea. This doesn't help our effort to fight crime. This alienates the American people. This makes us look like Jack-booted Thugs."

I guess we'll see.

This is no different than taking a front sight and break off of a firearm and applying it to a full auto firearm that ATF has on the rack.
How about taking the wheels off a car and putting them on a car that was used in a crime. Than attesting the person for owning the car.
Just when you think you heard it all, another rabbit comes out of the hat.
Len let David know the information for the legal defense fund. As I helped Ryan a little to cover the cost to get his fair day in court. I will be happy to do the same for you.

Petty tyrants showing their true colors.

Hopefully, the truth will prevail with the arrest of the real criminals in this matter.

It is most probably too late to stop them.....peaceably.

Duct tape and chains. Looks like the feds are into bondage and domination and submission. Is that gun over 18?
Caligula made his horse a consul. This is kinda like that. God-emperors pushing the definition of absurd to see who squawks. So they can cut their heads off.
Those who keep their heads DOWN get the axe too, just a little later.
