We Didn't Love Freedom Enough

Whatever alibis the Soviet-era Russians and other captive peoples might have had as the Gulag's apparatus churned and grumbled, we kulaks of the Obamanation have no such excuses. [More]
Sure we do. They're just not very good excuses.

Perhaps "I Love Freedom Enough" is a slogan that could be helpful?

It would invite questioning...

Certainly enough of us are different enough from the Germans of the '30s and '40s, the Russians and South Koreans of the '50s, the Cambodians of the '70s, the Rwandans and Iranians of the '80s,the Iraqis and the entire continent of Europe in the '90s...
African countries are ALWAYS having Marxist coups...
Individual liberty is like life in our solar system. Extremely rare and all concentrated in one place.
Before people learned to make fire, they depended on lightning strikes. The central village fire kindled from a burning tree was a sacred thing, a gift from the gods. Letting it go out was sacrilege.
Firekeepers remain among us.

I love freedom "enough" because I know the value of freedom. I could love gold; appreciate its beauty or lustre, without knowing what its value is. The same goes for freedom.

Some of us aren't collecting ammunition much, but plenty of other things. I'm collecting medical supplies...

I'll be in the back trying to patch up those who don't duck fast enough.

I wonder what will start it.

A purported 'race war'. Hope it's not at the expense of Barry Soetoro. We must protect him. Eco added to the mix. Our enemies will try to pin any war on Freedom loving Americans.

As for Indepencence, they will try to make us 'Fort Sumter'.
