A parking enforcement officer issued a ticket for a pickup truck outside an Alabama emergency room while a woman lay dead inside the vehicle, authorities said. [More]OK, I have an "Only Ones" bet here--that in several months we'll hear about this story again because the ticket will not have been paid and they'll be booting or impounding the car or some such.

As an Alabama homie,I would say only that I am surprised they didn't drag the poor woman into court for illegal parking and vagrancy.
As a resident of a nearby Alabama suberb, I find this a stretch to include it as an "only one" story. Mot of the parking officers I've seen in downtown B'ham are too short to see into the cab of a pickup, especially if the person was slumped over as the story infers.

bet he never failed an interview because he scored too high.
The story did say the cop didn't see her because she was slumped over(pehaps on the floorboards), and that drug paraphanalia was found inside the truck. Could have overdosed.
