Lacking the political muscle (for now) to enact an outright ban, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now talking about a "middle ground."She reminds me of a ravenous weasel finding itself locked out of the henhouse frantically sticking its nose in whatever crack it can find to see if there's another way in. Or a rapist promising he won't stick it all the way in.
"Pelosi indicated that new regulations might entail registration and prohibitions on transporting some firearms across state lines."

The Heinous Harridan of the House needs to go. Not only is she a far left liberal completely out of touch with reality, she is a certifable idiot. I simply cannot believe the people of California keep sending this witch back to the Imperial City to do ever more damage to the former republic.

That traitorous bitch Pelosi can pass all the unconstitutional laws she wants. She has betrayed her Oath and according to her Oath, rendered herself nothing more than a domestic enemy.
I look forward to the day when our elected leaders regard the Constitution as something more than a nuisance.
The 2nd Amendment _is_ the compromise. The "gun" Control freaks want no one to own guns; the extreme opposite position would be to _require_ that _everyone_ own a gun. The compromise position is that you can own one if you desire or not own one if you desire not to. Compromise we can all live with.
