Making Sense of Robert J. Spitzer

We've learned this lesson before, in our own violent past, when strict regulation of concealed gun carrying was the near-universal and successful response to gun violence. [More]
Gosh, and what better way to prove your point than by turning to past prohibitions as an example of "success"?

See, prohibition and bans are what he's really after -- his "stand your ground" ploy is just an entry point. He doesn't like concealed carry? Now ask him how he feels about open carry. And "gun free zones." And semi-autos. And registration. And licensing. And gun ownership in general.

Cede anything to these bastards and they'll roll out the next agenda item. And attack "extremists" as "gun-humpers," "ammosexuals" and racists for not wanting to "compromise."

If "stand your ground" makes no sense to him, he must advocate "run and die", which is the only alternative.

For a while there it was very popular for males to wear metal codpieces and to wear neck ruffles, as seen on some clown costumes today (the neck ruffles, not the codpieces, unless your clown is performing in a very strange and weird circus). Why be selective in choosing which ancient trends to revive? Bring back the Inquisition! Repeat the mistakes and poor choices of practices!
