Hell, why not just cut to the chase and outsource our policing to the Blue Helmets? I'm sure they could do it a lot cheaper, and that's what everybody in power says it's all about...

I guess that depends on how you measure the cost. The person taking the job would probably find that the pay was no where near enough (considering the high cost of being buried).
I am reminded of one of the most prophetic dialog in 20th century movies:

Chicom bluehats work cheap, and Shrillary is as cheap as they come.
I can just hear her shrill voice now, "We need affordable community policing, and outsourcing can achieve that for us. We need to look beyond America for the help that we need to make all Americans feel safer."
I just don't think I'd feel safer having a Chicom bluehat squinting at me over his 5.8mm bullpup, especially after Shrillary rams through Clinton AWBII and I have to turn in my "evil semiauto" Ruger 10/22.
Blue is a very good background when acquiring a sight picture, apropros of nothing, of course.
