The acting architect of the Capitol cleared the way Thursday for the certificates that accompany flags flown over the building to include the word “God,” reversing policy on an issue that was becoming the latest touchstone in the nation’s culture wars.I'm sure my anonymous atheist friend who thinks I'm "every bit as dangerous to this republic as any islamic fundamentalist" will only confirm his position by this, and maybe even have another tantrum, but what the hell. Anybody think I do this because I want everyone to like me?
