Here it Comes...

Every Republican candidate – including current front-runner Rudy Giuliani – has promised to appoint originalists and textualists to the Supreme Court.

And we can believe what Rudy promises, because he's our friend.

I've been saying this is coming. Expect a lot more paving of the way in the months to come.

Anybody think this does not reflect the sentiment of management in Fairfax?

If conservatives vote for a third party, it will give the Democratic nominee the votes needed to win.

Aaarrrggghhh!!! The next time I see that, I'm going to set someone on fire (not really). How does voting for a third party "give" votes to Democrats? I could see arguing that it takes away votes from Republicans, but since (as far as I know), I don't owe the Republicans my vote, then I am "taking away" something that they do not own.

OK, the "third party" that every idiot keeps referring to is really just the OTHER party...we have a one party system right now. Period. The only difference is the extent of their treasonous backroom dealings.

As for the supreme court, it DOESN'T MATTER. the wheels are turning right now that will hand us over to the ICC, so they can promise to exhume and appoint the damn founding fathers, but it's TOO LATE.

Tim Kaine, the current VA governor, claimed to be pro-gun as well when he ran for office. That didn't last long at all once he was elected, which hasn't surprised gun owners in the state. This is the same man that used city money while mayor of Richmond, VA to bus people to anti-gun marches in DC.

I haven't voted for a Demican or Republicrat in many elections and have vowed this election to be a single issue voter.

So my problem is what to do in a scenario where Rudy or Mitt gets the Republican nomination. I understand the point that many make about how there's no way that either will be worse than Hillary...

But still. My feeling at this point is that if the Republicans aren't smart enough to nominate RP or FT, then they deserve Hillary. The last thing we need is another Republican to turn on us like GB and set up back more.

Mmm, yes, a RINO promising us originalists. Sorta like Bush 41 did just before we ended up with Souter. One of the very Justices she says needs to be replaced. Not to mention that whole import ban.
