This Day in History: November 7

The approaching season, and the distresses of the army in the Articles of Blankets and Cloathing make it necessary, that every practicable measure should be pursued to procure supplies.
And the Heirs of Liberty argue from their warm and sheltered comfort over why even voting for principle is too extreme an act, and compromise, sweet compromise is the only path to follow that we can all be sure will work.

Not voting for principle is the creed of slaves, and the only virtue of the soon-to-be extinct.
