A police officer charged with drunken driving in a car wreck that killed two men and injured a third was assigned to desk duty pending an internal investigation, a police spokesman said Friday.I'm wondering if that misdemeanor charge isn't a little harsh--after all, he is an "Only One." But I do appreciate that the original police report was changed.

Ok, one more time, unless you still don't get it. This is Illinois. More precisely, Chicago.
When we have a task force that intimidates, beats, tortures, extorts, and even kills citizens, we don't put them in prison, we split them up. We don't give their names, it's only an investigation.

I wonder if the charge of vehicular homicide has been repealed in Illinois. Gee, what a tolerant place.
