A man suspected of smuggling a gun into prison for Billy Wright's killer was a Special Branch agent, the inquiry into the LVF leader's murder has revealed.Yes, when "gun murders" take place in UK prisons, you know all those citizen disarmament laws are working the way they're intended. And if you read the whole article, you'll see this was the second incident of smuggling one inside.
"Only Ones" rule.
And how convenient--the suspect informant is dead. No doubt he lived a high risk lifestyle, but for some reason that line from Pirates of the Caribbean comes to mind, especially after trying to navigate through this convoluted tale...

People smuggle guns into prisons all the time, all over the world.
Google just gave me over 628,000 hits on "guns prison smuggle."
I guess that's why no liberal I've ever talked to has been able to answer this gun-control question:
If total government control is such a good idea, why are prisons so dangerous?
or:
If walls and guards can't keep guns out of prisoners' hands, how can policies and signs keep them out of criminals' hands?
Not just the UK,
A prison guard was sentenced to get locked up in his own prison here in Belgium after delivering a weapon to a prisoner, who used it to take another guard hostage to try and escape.
