Hmmmm. Seems like awfully peaceful "chaos" where I am sitting right now. There are guns present.

They must have dumped Bambi's comment, because I don't see it there now. She must have gotten too close to the truth.
That figures. She wanted to know if the Chief would disarm his officers in order that they not spread chaos.

Oh really?
Well, Sheriff Lance, I'm sure you will immediately disarm yourself and your deputies. After all, we can't have you spreading "chaos".
Lance is just telling the same old law-enforcement lie that people aren't competent to defend themselves. Someone should ask him how fast his officers could get to the NEAREST school after the first shot is fired. Then recall that Cho killed 30 people in 9 minutes - and the police were already on the VT campus when the slaughter began.
