BATFU Zeroes In

The ATF is zeroing in on shipments of American-made firearms moving across the border through the southwestern United States.

Increased enforcement of the gun trade could mean greater oversight of gun retailers and gun shows and more inspections for Americans traveling to Mexico.
Sweet. The feds create the problem, the feds "solve" the problem--and we pay on both ends.

Maximum Mike must be getting desperate to prove he and his merry band of BATFU zeroes are capable of doing more than losing guns, screwing up records and losing cases.

Since when does a US government agency, illegal though it is, enforce other counties' "laws"? I guess they don't get to abuse the locals enough so they need to spread the tyranny around a little.

We should encourage gun exports to less-free countries. Air drop Liberator pistols to all gun-deprived nations.

"assault rifles funneling across the border into mesko"????????

Might they mean their made up term of "assault weapons" as there isn't much select fire stuff moving about without the ATF knowing about it unless perhaps it was stolen from military and LEO arsenals???

Jack offs!

I just verbally reamed the author of this garbage to the extent that would make a DI proud without using any profanity over the phone, because he listed his authorized journalist phone number at the bottom of the article, of his usage of "assault rifle" vs "assault weapon" throughout this article, as I didn't feel like bothering to go through the registration process to point out he was batshit insane and had no understanding of what he was speaking of. Let us see if he mouthed platitudes to me or will go fix his article and make it speak of the mythical "assault weapons" rather than "assault rifles".

I read him the riot act on the Firearms Owner Protect Act, it's effect on select-fire pricing, and it's effect on the availability of select-fire arms to common civilians, most especially of new manufacture...My class III manufacturer friend says he can't find anything select-fire or machinegun that's transferable other than shot out AKMs in need of repair for under $6000USD.

18 people were killed over the weekend in border Mexico by warring gangs of dealers of Prohibited drugs. Laws? Pffft!
Some were tortured before being killed and stuffed in 50-gallon barrels as a warning to rival gangs. Authorities ASSUME they were dead before being canned.
If you have a "gang" of five or six people, there's nothing an unarmed person can do. Who in their right mind or not on a power trip would want it that way?
I'm tired of being told MY RIGHTS are the problem. That includes you, "Loophole" McCain.

I have to believe that with respect to the flow of fully automatic firearms between the two countries, Mexico sends more to the US than the US sends to Mexico.

If select fire weapons ARE actually funnelling into Mexico from the SouthWestern US they are going through in bloody unopened containers. You know, those containers that get shipped all over the world and a miniscule percentage of which are ever opened. They can fill a container with weaponry which is unavailable here in whatever country they can access the aforementioned weapons and ship them to Mexico through LA or San Diego.

All those wars in Central and South America.

As for BATFU, here's how easy it is to shut down an agency, if they really want to. Citing $8 million a year as too expensive, the Bush administration ended the USDA program that tests fruit, vegetables and other crops for pesticides. The Agricultural Chemical Usage Program was started after the apple Alar scare of 1990.
A billoin a month for the war in Iraq, but AT A TIME WHEN IMPORTED PRODUCE IS CONTAMINATED WITH E. COLI, DYSENTERY AND INDUSTRIAL PLASTICS...
The Decider decideth.
I said befor: He wants to help usher in the New Obama Order. He's just Biden his time.

Good for the Mexican drug cartels. Why shouldn't they have the right to protection with the most effective means possible?

Anyone else notice how its this country's problem with drugs that makes killers in Mexico?

I've noticed.

Wait a minute, wait a minute. I'm missing something.

I thought they wanted fewer guns in this country. So what's the problem?

A little research would reveal that serial numberless M-16's where made in AR, and sent to the CONTRA's.

Coke was used as payment for them, ask Slick Willy. I'm sure he'll be forthright with his answer.

The G3 fired at news copters by the North Hollywood bank robbers was traced back to... the Mexican military. I recently saw a new video about this smuggling topic, video showed seized fragmentation grenades, M60, and other goodies. WHERE ARE THESE RETAILERS AND HOW LATE DO THEY STAY OPEN????

The brainwashed dopesmoking cali idiot has still not fixed his mis-application of the words "assault rifle" when he meant "mythical assault weapon". I just left him a message to that effect on his voice mail after he SAID HE WAS GOING TO FIX IT.

If a person lies to you and you call them a "brainwashed idiot" is it slander or just pointing out the obvious?

Waste of O2 and carbon compounds. Should be composted. Shouldn't LIE to people twice on the telephone. Likely be the next governor of commie-fornia. I say we let them secede. No offense 308Mike.
