I did not know that Zwick (Glory, et. al) was making a movie of Defiance, but I am thrilled that he is doing so as he has a somewhat better reputation for historical accuracy than most of Hollywood.
It is a compelling story.

I actually have in my notes for the second of the Absolved trilogy two chapters based on the Bielski partisans. Looking forward to the movie.

Movies like this might make people realize that you CAN fight the tyrants and their enforcers. A dangerous idea.
This looks like it will be a good movie about a resistance movement. Can you say, "militia"? I knew you could!
